Our commitment to sustainability

At Lissett Homes, we believe that building exceptional homes shouldn’t come at the expense of the environment. Sustainability isn’t an afterthought — it’s a long-term investment woven into how we operate every day.

From reducing our environmental impact to investing in long-term renewable solutions, we’re taking real steps to shape a cleaner, more responsible future for our business, our customers, and our industry.

SOLAR POWER & STORAGE

CLEAN ENERGY. SMARTER FUTURE.

Lissett’s on-site biomass heating system is a powerful part of our sustainability commitment. It provides reliable, renewable heat for our factory all year round, significantly reducing our reliance on fossil fuels. We fuel the system using our own waste timber — turning by-products from production into clean, efficient energy.

This system isn’t just sustainable — it’s high-performance. With consistent heat across the production line, we maintain a comfortable working environment and keep our environmental impact low.

BIO-MASS HEATING

SUSTAINABLE HEAT. HIGH PERFORMANCE.

We’ve invested in a large-scale solar panel and battery storage installation that helps power our factory with clean, renewable energy. Even when the sun isn’t shining, stored energy supports our operations, cutting down our reliance on the grid and reducing overall emissions.

This system is designed for the long-term — smart, scalable, and self-sufficient. It reduces our carbon footprint today and prepares our business for tomorrow. Because building luxury lodges and park homes shouldn’t come at the cost of the planet.

RECYCLING WITH CARE.

EVERY MATERIAL MATTERS.

At every stage of the build, we take care to separate and recycle our waste — from timber offcuts and metal fixings to cardboard, paper, polythene and plastics. Materials are sorted and processed responsibly, either at our factory or through trusted local partners, ensuring nothing useful goes to waste.

We believe that recycling is about more than managing waste — it’s a reflection of how much we care.

By making thoughtful choices in how we handle materials, we reduce our impact on the environment and support long-term sustainability.
